With our local expert guides, we are able to convey both the drama and the beauty of these historic sites, with the fun and engaging approach that characterises any Footprints tour! Starting with Christ Church College’s dining hall, we’ll show you how this magnificent environment was transformed into the Hogwarts Great Hall.
Whilst covering the illustrious history of the University – Oxford has produced over 20 British Prime Ministers – we’ll head onto the Divinity School, part of the Bodleian Library. The Divinity School’s exemplary fan vaulted ceilings also made the cut for the filming of Hogwarts, appearing in multiple scenes. The oldest purpose-built lecture room at the University, the Divinity School has a rich and unique history. We then visit New College – don’t let the name deceive you, it was built in 1379! The College’s shadowy Medieval cloisters round off a magical day!
